When you or someone close to you is affected by cancer you may find it difficult to talk about. It’s important to have an opportunity to discuss things with someone, in a safe, non-judgemental space.

Big C is here to help. You can talk either on a one to one basis, with loved ones, relatives, or in a group with those going through similar situations.

Our Big C Centres at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital, in Norwich city centre, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn are open Monday to Friday 9am – 4.30pm (excluding bank holidays).

    What would I talk about?

Everyone will have different things they want to discuss. This may be a particular worry or fear, a general feeling or practical issues like how to tell loved ones that you have cancer.

Sometimes relationships can be put under additional stress following a diagnosis and you may want to explore issues about how you move forward; or body image issues following the effects of treatments.
